Gateway Church Policy
To maintain an environment of worship and learning,
we ask that children under the age of 11 be checked into a classroom.
Where to Go and When?
Children can be checked in before our worship service begins,
and our teachers are available in the classrooms by 10:30am.
-
Babies usually stay with their families in adult service
-
1 year olds should check into the nursery
-
2-3 year olds should check into the toddler room
-
4-5 check into "Camp Sonshine"
-
Kindergarten check into K-Club
-
1st-5th grade should check into the Children's Church room (3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders join the adults for worship in the sanctuary first!)
Where to Go and When?
Your kid’s physical, spiritual, and emotional safety is very important to us!
Every GatewayKidz Ministry team member goes through the following
screening process and must meet these requirements to serve with us:
Fill out a Kidz Ministry Application that asks for general information,
beliefs, and background information.
We use "Protect My Ministry" for the following background checks:
-
National Sex Offender Search
-
National Criminal Database Search
-
SSN Verification
No applicant is permitted to serve with children if
they have ever been arrested or convicted for child abuse.
All team members are given training materials for our Kidz Ministry,
checklists for each morning, and have access to our security team during service.
Let Us Know
If your kiddo has any allergy or special needs please let us know
when you bring them to class so we can best serve them.
For questions feel free to contact the GatewayKidz Ministry Director,
